One day Farmer's Training Programme organized at village Chandur District Akola.

One day farmer's training programme on "Health Management of Dairy Animals" was successfully organized by Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex, Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Akola and Agriculture Technology Management Agency (ATMA) on 29/01/2015 at village Chandur of district Akola.

Dr S.A. Bakshi, Associate Dean, PGIVAS, Akola presided over the function and inaugurated the training programme and Mrs. Jijabai Survade, Sarpanch, village Chandur, Mr Lakhoappa Langote, Ex Chairman, Panchayat Samiti, Akola, Dr S.G. Mode, Head, Dept. of Veterinary Medicine, Mr Bankhele, Project Director ATMA, Mr Qurban Tadvi, Project Deputy Director ATMA, Akola, Mr Kadpande, Mr Shegokar, ATMA, Akola were present to grace the occasion as a guest of honour. Dr Siddiqui M.F.M.F. coordinator training programme, welcomed all dignitaries and explained about concept of training programme.

Six folders on various topics related to health and management of dairy animals were published and the same were released at the hands of guests during the inaugural programme of training for distribution to the participant farmers.

Dr S.P. Waghmare, Hospital Superintendent TVCC, Dr M.F.M.F. Siddiqui, Hospital Registrar TVCC, Dr S. M. Wankhede, Assistant Professor of Animal Nutrition, Dr S.G. Deshmukh, Assistant Professor of ARGO, Dr G. J. Panchbhai, Assistant Professor of LPM and Dr S. D. Chepte, Subject Matter Specialist (Health) delivered lectures on different topics and guided the farmers during the training programme.

During valedictory session, certificates were distributed to the participants at the hands of Mr Bankhele and Mr Qurban Tadvi. All the participants expressed their satisfaction over this training programme. The programme was anchored by Dr S. M. Wankhede and Dr S. G. Deshmukh expressed the vote of thanks.
