ONE DAY FARMER'S TRAINING AT UKALI BAZAR, Tq. TELHARA, Dist. AKOLA UNDER ATMA

One Day training for livestock farmers on "Vyavasayik Shelipalan: Niwad, Paidas Va Vyavasthapan Tasech Janawarana Honare Jakhma Aani Vishbadha Va Tyavaril Upchar" sponsored by Agriculture Training Management Agency (ATMA), Akola was successfully organized at Ukali bazar, Taluka Telhara Dist., Akola on 28th January 2016 by Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Akola.
 
Dr H. S. Birade, Associate Dean, PGIVAS, Akola presided over the function and inaugurated the training programme. Dr. M. G. Thorat, Associate Professor and Extension Cell Chairman, Dr S. V. Kuralkar Associate Professor and Research Coordinator, Mr. Rajesh Ambolikar, Branch Manager, Central Bank of India (Ukali Bazar), and Mr A R Mankar, Talathi (Ukali Bazar) were present to grace the occasion as a guest of honour. One information booklet in Marathi language written and compiled by Dr S Sajid Ali, Assistant Professor, Dept of AGB, Dr S W Hajare, Assistant Professor, Dept of Veterinary Pharmacology and Dr S D Chepte, Assistant Professor, Department of Veterinary Surgery entitled "Shastrokt Shelipalan" was released with the hands of guest present for the inaugural function of the training and the booklets were distributed to the participating farmers of the training. Total 40 livestock farmers were benefited by the training.
 
Dr. S Sajid Ali, Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Department of AGB, delivered the introductory remarks. Dr M G Thorat, Dr S V Kuralkar, Dr Sunil Hajare and Dr S D Chepte delivered lectures on different topics and guided the farmers during the training programme. Dr H S Birade, in his presidential remark focused on the importance of shelipalan in the present scenario.
 
During valedictory session, certificates were distributed to the participants at the hands of honorable guest. The programme was anchored by Dr M A Panhale and Mr A R Mankar expressed the vote of thanks. All the participants expressed their satisfaction over this training programme.Dr M A Panhale and Dr Akshay Joshi, P G Student of Dept. of AGB and Mr Rajesh Kale (Police Patil, Ukli bazar) worked hard for successful organization of the training.
