ORGANIZATION OF ONE DAY FARMER'S TRAINING AT DAHIGAON, Tq. TELHARA, Dist. AKOLA UNDER ATMA.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
One Day training for livestock farmers on "Vyavasayik Shelipalan: Niwad, Paidas Va Vyavasthapan Tasech Janawarana Honare Jakhma Aani Vishbadha Va Tyavaril Upchar" sponsored by Agriculture Training Management Agency (ATMA), Akola was successfully organized at Dahigaon, Taluka Telhara Dist., Akola on 2nd February 2016 by Post Graduate Institute of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Akola.
 
Mr Ashok Bankhele, Project Director ATMA Akola presided over the function and inaugurated the training programme. Dr. M. G. Thorat, Associate Professor and Extension Cell Chairman, Dr S. V. Kuralkar Associate Professor and Research Coordinator, PGIVAS, Akola, Shrimati Pushpa Khondil, (Sarpanch, Dahigaon), Mr Arvind Avtade (Police Patil, Dahigaon), Mr Yogesh Deshmukh, (BTM, ATMA) and Shrimati A D Misal (Agriculture Assistant) were present to grace the occasion as a guest of honour.
 
Dr. S Sajid Ali, Coordinator and Assistant Professor, Department of AGB, welcomed the guest and gathering and briefed about the training program. Mr Ashok Bankhele, Project Director ATMA address the participant about the importance of the training and role of ATMA in reforming the farmers from traditional to advanced scientific ways of agriculture and livestock farming. Dr S V Kuralkar, Dr M G Thorat, Dr Siddiqui MFMF, Hospital Registrar and Dr S D Chepte, Assistant Professor, Vety. Surgery, guided the farmers on various topics during the training programme and also focused on the enhanced demand for the mutton of goat in the present scenario and importance of scientific goat rearing to fulfill it in near future. The booklets and kit including folder, writing pad and pen were distributed to the participating farmers of the training. Total 36 livestock farmers were benefited by the training.
 
During valedictory session, certificates were distributed to the participants at the hands of honorable guest. The programme was anchored by Dr M A Panhale and Mr Yogesh Deshmukh, BTM, ATMA expressed the vote of thanks. All the participants expressed their satisfaction over this training programme. Dr M A Panhale and Dr Akshay Joshi, P G Student of Dept. of AGB has taken painstaking efforts for making the training succesful.
